Adam Paolozza
moving bodies
Are you drawn to the fusion of physical theatre, clowning, and puppetry? Are you interested in an embodied approach to devised creation?
If so, this workshop is for you!
In Moving Bodies, Adam Paolozza will guide you through the physical training and creative processes that shape the works of Bad New Days, including Flashing Lights, Italian Mime Suicide, and Last Landscape.
Through movement practice, guided improvisation, and creative exercises, we’ll explore core principles derived from physical theatre, puppetry, and clowning. Participants will engage in cultivating a deeper connection between their bodies and the space around them, developing an awareness of their physical presence, playful interactions with others, and the use of objects within the larger dramatic context. This immersive training will expand your sense of freedom and presence on stage, while providing practical tools for character creation and devising original work.
